Do you have a stack of reusable nursing pads at home that are just sitting and collecting dust now that you are no longer breastfeeding? Don’t toss them out! I’ve come up with 3 great ways to reuse nursing pads.
Makeup Remover Cloths

My personal favourite way to reuse my old nursing pads, is for makeup remover cloths. They fit great into a wide mouthed mason jar, and are the perfect size for washing your gorgeous face. {Looking for some great skincare products? I’ve purchased my favorites from here and here.}
Washcloths for Bath Time

Reusable nursing pads make great little washcloths for bath time. Whether your are washing your babies, or slathering your legs in the most luxurious body wash, these little pads get the job done.
Cleaning Cloths for Small Hands

My kids love using the pads for mini cleaning cloths around the house. This is a total win-win, reusing a great product and establishing great habits in your kiddos. Yes, please!
Other Great Ways to Reuse Nursing Pads
There are lots of other ways you could reuse these mini pads. I haven’t personally used them for these things, but I think they’d work great:
- Cold Compresses – just spritz lightly with water and keep in the freezer for quick relief from itchy bites or little boo boos
- On-the-Go Cloths – keep in a zippered wet bag in your purse with a tiny bottle of spray for on the go cleaning (think- fast food restaurants or quick car clean ups)
- Menstrual Cup Spot – lots of ladies use a menstrual cup, and these little rounds make a great spot to set a cup when you don’t have a clean spot in sight (public washrooms)
If none of these ideas appeal to you, you could always sell in a local Buy/Sell/Trade group, cloth diaper page or donate to a mom in need.
Do you have any other ideas? I’d love to hear about them in the comments below!
