Pressed Flower Art – Pillow – Red + Green

This Pressed Flower Art Pillow makes a beautiful gift item, or statement piece in your home. It showcases beautiful red and green colours derived from flowers cultivated in the gardens of my friends and family. Our manufacturing partner in Canada has sewn the pillow covers. The back of the pillow cover consists of white cotton + linen fabric.

The size is 18″ by 18″.

Pillow form NOT included – you can add it for an extra cost for LOCAL pickups only. (These covers look best when stuffed with a 20″ pillow form; shop my favorites here.)

HOW IT'S MADE

Each pillowcase, made from 68% cotton and 32% linen, undergoes printing right here in Canada using a special reactive process. This process involves four stages, including steaming and washing, to ensure that it permanently locks the colour into the fibers without affecting the feel of the fabric. You will never worry about your pillowcase fading with washing or use.

A small batch manufacturer in Canada sews the pillow covers and then it is shipped to you. Your pillow cover features a hidden invisible zipper and arrives ready to be stuffed with a fluffy 20″ by 20″ pillow insert.

THE FLOWERS

My children assist me in caring for the garden, and when the flowers bloom, we press our favorites. After pressing the flowers, I photograph them and arrange the layouts digitally for printing on fabric. You can watch a short video of some of our flowers being removed from the press here.

PILLOW CARE

  • Machine wash cold or warm water with a mild detergent
  • Hang to dry
  • Iron on cotton setting
  • Can be dry cleaned
  • Do not bleach
